Aradia is a character from a book composed by American folklorist Charles Godfrey Leland, published in 1899. The text in Aradia is a composite of translations from an Italian manuscript; Leland documented the religious texts and rituals of a group of Italian pagan witches, whose central figure in their witchcraft religion is the goddess, Aradia. She came to Earth to teach her oppressed followers’ witchcraft so they could oppose their Roman Catholic oppressors and the wealthy upper class.Aradia is described as the messianic daughter of the goddess Diana and Lucifer. She is portrayed as “the god of the sun and the moon, the god of light, who was so proud of her beauty that she was cast out of paradise for it.” Aradia is considered the first witch on Earth and is an important figure in Wicca as well as other modern pagan religions. She is sometimes referred to as the “queen of witches” or the “great goddess.” Veronese design – Incredible DetailDimensions (approximately):Height: 25 cm (9.84 inches)Width: 11,5 cm (4.53 inches)Depth: 16 cm (6.30 inches) Weight: 975 gr (2.14 lb) Material: Cold Cast Bronze & ResinMADE OF HIGH QUALITY HEAVY ART COLD CAST RESIN & BRONZE POWDER.
