Rockwell Mug | George Lincoln Rockwell (1918–1967) was a provocateur par excellence and perhaps the most politically incorrect figure anywhere since World War II. Rockwell was a former U.S. Navy pilot who served in World War II in both the European and Pacific theaters, as well as in the Korean War in non-combat roles, ultimately achieving the rank of Commander. He founded the American Nazi Party in 1959 and used high-profile media stunts to increase its visibility, soon becoming one of the arch-villains in the mainstream media. However, his provocative tactics did not work as intended, and Rockwell remained politically fringe. In the year before his death, Rockwell renamed the ANP the National Socialist White People’s Party as part of an effort to broaden the party’s appeal among white Americans. On August 25, 1967, Rockwell was assassinated in Arlington, Virginia, by a former member of the ANP whom Rockwell had expelled in March of that year.Whether you’re drinking your morning coffee, evening tea, or something in between – this mug’s for you!
